Shipping policy
Every LAYR piece is made to order in our Prague studio, then sent to you tracked and carefully protected. Here is exactly what to expect — costs, timings and how your map reaches your door — laid out plainly, with no surprises at checkout.
How long it takes
Your total delivery time is production time plus transit time. Because each map is custom-made for you — your route, your frame colour — nothing ships from a shelf.
Production: 1–3 working days. We build, print and frame your piece to order, then hand it to the carrier.
Transit after dispatch:
- Czechia: 1–3 working days
- EU neighbours (Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia): 2–4 working days
- Rest of EU: 3–5 working days
So a typical order within the EU arrives within roughly a week of you placing it. We'll always send you tracking so you can follow it the whole way.
Shipping costs
We ship with Zásilkovna and Česká Pošta, two trusted Czech carriers. Costs are shown in your local currency at checkout; the euro figures below are approximate.
Free shipping on orders over 2,500 CZK (~€100) — in every country we deliver to, including the UK, Switzerland and Norway.

Shipping to the UK, Switzerland & Norway
We're glad to ship to the UK, Switzerland and Norway. As these are outside the EU, a few things differ:
- Shipping is 625 CZK, and free over 2,500 CZK — like everywhere else.
- Your order may be subject to import duties or VAT charged on arrival by your local customs authority. These are set by your country, not by us, and are the customer's responsibility.

Tracking & careful packaging
Every order ships tracked, and we'll email you the tracking details once your piece is on its way.
We pack each map to survive the journey: snug, protective packaging that keeps the frame and the 3D relief safe in transit. And because we care about the planet as much as the product, our packaging is 100% recycled and plastic-free.
If anything arrives damaged, we'll put it right — see below.
If something goes wrong
If your piece arrives damaged in transit, faulty, or not as ordered, that's on us to fix. Send us a quick message with a photo and we'll arrange a free replacement or a refund — whichever you prefer. Your two-year statutory guarantee of conformity applies in full.
